Building a Base – Robotic Mount Design

It’s time to turn to the framing and wheels of the telepresence robot.

We want something like the PadBot U2

designed on the Cheap!

So far we have:

Motor driver, motors (chosen for proper torque), Arduino controls.

At this meetup we will turn to drafting a frame using Tinker CAD. We need the following accomplished:

– Pick wheels
– Design base
– Design mount points
– Pick the base medium (wood, acrylic, etc..)
– Purchase supplies for an upcoming build event.
