The Circuit Boards Behind Linux – Group Exploration & Open Lab

Come out to a cool slightly advanced look at the PCB circuit boards that are minimally required to run a Linux operating system. We will explore the designs for System-on-Module (SOM) boards that are open-hardware provided by Olimex – https://www.olimex.com/Products/SOM/
We will attempt to understand the key microchips used, key communication pathways, and basic components.

This will be a good introduction to the methods of circuit-board design, systems design, and DIY-computers.
