At this meetup we will consider what designs considerations are important to building a self-propelling sphere. I envision two 3D printed hemi-spheres, with some to be identified electronics, that can propel a ball.. ideally by remote control/Bluetooth.
Does this involve gyroscopes, or motors? What physics properties are important? Are there any math equations/models we should look at? What are other design considerations?
This will be a for-fun design and brainstorming session. Who knows, maybe it could be a cool present to some family member. Let’s get the ball rolling on this.
